Phase Four Concert Series

In 2014, a limited edition 6X 180 Gram vinyl LP pressing reissue was released. This exclusive release includes a worldwide Numbered LP Set of 2500 copies, each accompanied by a detailed booklet. The LPs are packaged with original front and back cover art, mimicking the style of the 40 CD box set, all contained in a Lift off rigid LP box reminiscent of previous 6 LP sets from Decca.

The set also includes a full color, English language LP sized booklet featuring 'The Story of Phase 4' by Tim McDonald, who served as Producer for Phase 4 from 1972-78. The lacquers for the vinyl were expertly cut by Sean Magee at Abbey Road Studios.

Decca, a trailblazer in the 1960s, introduced a revolutionary multi 10 channel console mixer that resulted in recordings with an unparalleled sense of spatial realism and movement. The Phase 4 Stereo sound was born, captivating listeners with its unique qualities.
